Spring Fair and Art Show

Central Coast Grammar School's Spring Fair is
on Saturday 15 November.
Gourmet food stalls, show bags, a petting zoo and Kids Zone will
guarantee a great family day out. Rides include The Twister and Fee
Fie Foo Fun (a large inflatable) with rock climbing and trampoline
jumping too!. There will be free entertainment and all the usual
family friendly games and activities for children plus lots of
stalls bursting with books, toys and clothes on sale at bargain
prices. 9am - 4pm. Access off Carlton Road, Erina Heights.
Art Show
November 14th from 11am -
4pm,
The Art Show will open the day before, in
the Performing Arts Centre and showcases the talents of mainly
Central Coast artists. This is a great chance to to buy
original paintings, artworks and craft items.
Artists include;
Mike Worrall; whose surrealist work
explores the subconscious, Finalist Sulman Prize AGNSW 2006 & 2007
Paul Haggith, whose realist works have
water, figurative and cityscape themes, finalist Wynne Prize 2007
Gloria Petyarre, contemporary aboriginal
artist from the Western Desert
Ingrid van der Aa, emerging contemporary
formalist artist whose work is based on modular pieces with
geometric shapes and connecting lines, finalist Gosford Art Prize
2007
Suzanne Sommer, Janet Leigh, and hanging
sculptures from Col Henry.
Doors will open on Friday November
14th from 11am - 4pm, followed by a champagne and supper launch
event from 7pm - 10pm . The Show will continue on
Saturday from 10am - 5pm. Daytime entry to the Art
